Le Magewell Ultra Encode SDI Plus est un encodeur vidéo SDI 4K compact destiné aux cars régie légers, racks broadcast, plateaux fixes, amphithéâtres et installations AV où un signal SDI doit être distribué en IP sans ajouter un encodeur encombrant. Son entrée 6G-SDI avec loop-through permet de l’insérer facilement derrière une caméra, un mélangeur ou une matrice. Il prend en charge des signaux jusqu’à 4096 × 2160 à 30p et encode en H.264, H.265/HEVC, NDI|HX2 et NDI|HX3. Pour une captation d’événement, un studio streaming, une contribution distante ou une diffusion institutionnelle, il relie efficacement la vidéo baseband aux infrastructures IP actuelles.
Côté diffusion, ce modèle convient aux environnements où les protocoles changent selon la plateforme ou le cahier des charges. Il prend en charge RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, RTSP, HLS ainsi que le transport stream en UDP ou RTP, avec compatibilité directe pour des services comme YouTube, Facebook ou Twitch. Le double encodage autorise un flux principal et un sous-flux simultanés. En pratique, cela permet d’envoyer un flux maître pour la diffusion, tout en générant une version plus légère pour le monitoring, un retour distant, une prévisualisation web ou une seconde publication. Il peut enregistrer sur 128 Go de mémoire interne, sur support USB externe ou sur NAS, avec choix des formats MP4, MOV ou TS, planification d’enregistrement, mode boucle et transfert automatique des fichiers vers un stockage distant après la captation. La connectivité Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, PoE et la prise en charge d’un modem USB 4G/5G en option apportent plusieurs solutions de liaison, aussi bien en installation fixe qu’en production mobile.
