ARRI Orbiter (Blue/Silver) est un projecteur LED directionnel à moteur RGBACL, basé sur ARRI Spectra six couleurs (rouge, vert, bleu, ambre, cyan, lime). Le blanc calibré couvre 2000–20000 K avec micro-ajustement ECC, gradation continue 100–0% et courbes au choix (linéaire/exponentielle/logarithmique/courbe S). Entre 3200 et 5600 K, la tolérance nominale est ±100 K et ±1/8 Vert/Magenta; en mode haute fidélité couleur, les valeurs typiques atteignent CRI >98, TLCI >95 et TM-30 >94, avec correction Vert/Magenta du plein minus-green au plein plus-green.

Cette version est le corps de luminaire uniquement : sans lyre, sans optique, sans panneau de contrôle et sans câbles. Elle s’intègre aux plateaux et parcs location qui standardisent accessoires et longueurs. La monture QLM reçoit open face, dômes, softboxes, fresnel et projection, afin de passer d’un faisceau dur à une clé diffuse ou à des découpes nettes. À 5600 K (HiOut) avec optiques open face, la photométrie de référence peut monter à 178 000 lx à 1 m en 15°, ou 21 000 lx à 1 m en 60° (valeurs dépendantes de l’optique).

Alimentation : 400 W nominal / 500 W max, entrée universelle 100–240 V via powerCON TRUE1 TOP, et fonctionnement sur batterie 48–52 V par XLR 3 broches. Les modes incluent CCT, HSI, RGBACL, x/y, gélatines, source matching et capteur couleur. La commande couvre DMX512 (8/16-bit) avec RDM, CRMX LumenRadio, Art-Net, sACN et un portail web intégré. Un panneau de contrôle amovible se raccorde en PoE et peut s’utiliser en mode portatif via câbles de 5 m ou 15 m; la connectique du luminaire propose XLR 5 broches et EtherCON en entrée/boucle, USB-A/USB-C, carte SD et entrée sync.

Orbiter sert au fill daylight en virtual production, au top light en plateau multicaméra, aux reflets maîtrisés en packshot, et aux cues répétables en broadcast ou événementiel. Orbiter is an extremely bright directional LED fixture with an output similar to corresponding HMI systems. Orbiter’s powerful yet tuneable ARRI Spectra light engine provides outstanding color quality and brightness, rendering hard shadows with defined edges. Overall, Orbiter creates great highlights, natural skin tones, and crisp shadows. This revolutionary light engine is 76 times smaller than the L10’s light engine but produces greater output while drawing the same amount of power. Orbiter’s light engine consists of over 200 advanced LEDs, arranged in a point source-like aperture, which produce stunning light output while maintaining color quality and full-color tunability. The compact light engine uses a six-color LED mixture to create a homogeneous color beam field with brightness levels that easily rival much larger lighting fixtures.
