Libec LX-ePed 2 Studio est un piédestal vidéo électrique avec dolly, destiné aux positions PTZ en plateau TV, studio de streaming et installations multicaméra fixes. La colonne 2 sections accepte des ensembles PTZ jusqu’à 10 kg, avec une course motorisée de 400 mm pour modifier la hauteur de cadrage sans contact avec la caméra. Ce comportement est très utile en plateau d’actualité, captation de conférences, production pour lieux de culte et studios corporate où la hauteur de prise de vue doit évoluer proprement en direct.

La montée et la descente sont continues de 10 à 30 mm/s, via la télécommande filaire fournie avec bascule d’élévation, voyants LED et bouton de préréglage. Libec indique aussi environ 14 à 40 secondes pour un déplacement complet selon la vitesse choisie, ce qui facilite un mouvement lent et maîtrisé pendant une émission. Le contrôleur fonctionne avec un câble LAN de 30 m, pratique pour piloter le piédestal depuis la régie, un poste technique latéral ou une salle de contrôle. Cette configuration convient bien aux studios PTZ et aux installations audiovisuelles éducatives.

Le montage caméra utilise une vis 1/4" avec pion vidéo, et la partie supérieure reçoit une rotule 100 mm ; une configuration 75 mm est possible avec un adaptateur optionnel. Deux ports accessoires avec filetages 1/4" et 3/8" permettent d’ajouter directement moniteur, récepteur HF ou convertisseur compact sur la base. La colonne électrique intègre une conception orientée sécurité pour limiter le risque de pincement des doigts, et le niveau à bulle intégré accélère la mise à niveau avant un direct. La version Studio permet aussi une position de travail haute, utile pour des angles PTZ plongeants sur plateau ou scène.

Libec LX-ePed 2 Studio fonctionne en AC 100-240 V et accepte une alimentation batterie en option pour studio temporaire, scène événementielle et production mobile. Le temps de fonctionnement continu nominal est de 3 minutes, avec une plage d’utilisation de -10°C à 40°C. Libec LX-ePed 2 Studio is a motorized base specifically designed for PTZ cameras. The tripod is equipped with a motorized center column, tripod wheels and remote control for easy height adjustment and offers a load capacity of up to 10 kg. It provides a maximum height of 264 cm.

This patented product line is the world's first electric line of PTZ camera bases and is used in all types of PTZ filming in broadcast and production. This new successor model to the Libec LX-ePed Studio now includes preset positions, supports IP connectivity and serial communication when combined with the new optional multi-protocol converter"MPC-1". With it, the LX-ePed 2 Studio can be controlled by PTZ controllers and the original PC application, the LX-ePed PC APP, which offers various optional settings.

Smart quick release adapter
Included in the package is a smart quick release adapter "AP-X" that allows you to attach/detach your camera more securely, easily and quickly. To prevent the attached PTZ camera from falling, the adapter is equipped with a hole for attaching a safety rope.

IP connection and serial communication
Using the optional multi-protocol converter "MPC-1", the new LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio models can work with PTZ controllers and the original LX-ePed PC APP, allowing for precise setup. This unique feature enhances the accessibility of the electric pedestal.

Remote control
The new remote control can store up to three preset positions, making it easy to adjust the height. The remote control adds a lifting element to the pan, tilt and zoom functions. This will provide multiple "viewing angles" and make setup easier.

Smooth and precise movements
The original column mechanism minimizes wobble and spin when the base moves up/down. In addition, the column is mechanically controlled with precision, allowing for smooth starting and stopping movements, making these electric bases ideal for "on shot" scenes.

Continuous speed adjustment
The speed of the top column can be adjusted by tilting the control lever. Slow motion mode allows fine tuning of the settings.

Highly reliable cable connection system
The LX-ePed 2 Studio controller does not use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, allowing users to focus on shooting without worrying about interference from radio waves. In addition, the controller is powered through the main part of the electrical base, so no additional power source or charger is needed.

Compatible with flat base with 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes
Includes "AP-X" adapter with 1/4" screw and "BL-F" adapter with 3/8" screw. These adapters support not only PTZ cameras, but also a wide range of devices equipped with 1/4" or 3/8" threads, which can now be mounted on the LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio.

Compatibility with video heads
By removing the "BL-F" adapter component, a video head with a 100mm ball base can be mounted on the LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio. In addition, by using the optional "AD-75" adapter, a video head with a 75mm ball base can also be mounted.

Compact design
The main unit can be detached from the tripod wheels (dolly) for easy transportation, and all components are collapsible. This compact unit can be stored in the optional RC-80 tripod case.

High angle shots
Dynamic high-angle shots can be achieved with a maximum height of 264 cm.

User friendly port for accessories
The accessory port, which has a 1/4" and 3/8" screw hole, is located on two of the three sides of the tripod base.

Safety design
With safety in mind, the power pole is carefully designed to prevent users from injuring their fingers.
