La Magewell Pro Capture Hexa CVBS est une carte d'acquisition vidéo composite à six canaux reposant sur une interface PCIe Gen2 x1. Elle capture simultanément six sources CVBS indépendantes et six paires audio stéréo non symétriques via un unique connecteur DB25 et le câble éclaté fourni. Pour les régies de diffusion, les studios de post-production et les équipes terrain qui exploitent encore des caméras analogiques ou des systèmes de vidéosurveillance anciens, cette carte convertit un seul emplacement PCIe en une station d'acquisition analogique-numérique complète.
Les six entrées prennent en charge les normes NTSC, PAL et SECAM avec détection automatique du standard, offrant une résolution jusqu'à 720 × 576 pixels à 30 images par seconde. Le FPGA embarqué assure le désentrelacement, le recadrage, la mise à l'échelle et la conversion colorimétrique entre RGB, YCbCr 601 et YCbCr 709, le tout matériellement pour préserver les ressources CPU. Les formats de sortie couvrent le 4:2:0, le 4:2:2 et le 4:4:4 en 8 bits — NV12, YUY2, UYVY, BGR24. Un moteur d'incrustation OSD accepte des images PNG jusqu'à 720 × 576, et l'extraction native des sous-titres CEA-608 / EIA-608 facilite la conformité lors de diffusions en direct ou d'archivage.
Avec une latence limitée à 64 lignes vidéo, la carte reste réactive lorsqu'elle alimente un mélangeur en direct ou un dispositif de retour multiécran. Chaque entrée génère un nombre illimité de flux, chacun paramétrable en résolution, cadence et colorimétrie — une même source peut nourrir un enregistreur, un encodeur de streaming et un moniteur de confiance simultanément. Une horloge matérielle de 100 ns estampille chaque trame et se synchronise entre plusieurs cartes via le SDK pour un enregistrement multicanal à la trame près. Les pilotes couvrent Windows 10/11, Server 2016–2025, Linux (noyau 2.6.35+, ARM compris) et macOS 10.12+. La carte fonctionne directement avec OBS, vMix, Wirecast, VLC, XSplit et toute application DirectShow ou V4L2 — un choix concret pour numériser des archives sur bande, capturer des flux de vidéosurveillance ou relier des routeurs analogiques à un environnement de production IP.
