La Magewell Pro Capture Mini HDMI est une carte d'acquisition mono-canal au format Mini PCIe Gen2 x1 de 30 × 51 mm, pensée pour les châssis compacts, serveurs rack et systèmes embarqués. Au lieu d'un connecteur HDMI fixe, elle utilise une interface JST 20 broches avec un adaptateur HDMI fourni, maintenant un profil bas tout en acceptant n'importe quelle source HDMI 1.4 jusqu'à 2048 × 2160 pixels.
Deux pipelines de traitement embarqués délivrent chacun environ 180 mégapixels par seconde et prennent en charge le désentrelacement, le recadrage, la conversion d'espace colorimétrique, la mise à l'échelle et la correction du rapport d'aspect sans solliciter le processeur hôte. La latence à 1080p60 en RGB ou YUY2 reste sous la milliseconde — un chiffre décisif pour le retour image sur un plateau ou l'incrustation graphique en temps réel. La carte gère des profondeurs de 8, 10 et 12 bits en RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4 et YCbCr 4:2:2, et son égaliseur HDMI adaptatif couvre des câbles allant jusqu'à 30 mètres sans amplificateur.
L'audio arrive en LPCM embarqué via HDMI avec huit canaux à 48 kHz accessibles par le SDK Magewell ; les API standard — DirectShow, V4L2, AVCaptureSession — exposent la stéréo par défaut. L'EDID est paramétrable depuis le panneau du pilote pour faciliter la négociation avec une caméra ou un mélangeur. Chaque entrée génère un nombre illimité de flux de capture simultanés dotés chacun de réglages indépendants de résolution, cadence et colorimétrie — une seule carte peut alimenter un aperçu OBS, une sortie vMix et un enregistrement en parallèle.
Au quotidien, la Magewell Pro Capture Mini HDMI s'intègre aux stations de streaming, chariots de télémédecine, lecteurs d'affichage dynamique, dispositifs de captation de cours et stations d'ingest broadcast. Compatible Windows 10/11, Server 2016–2022, Linux x86/x64/ARM et macOS 10.9+, elle existe en trois variantes de dissipateur thermique selon le flux d'air du boîtier.
