Sur les plateaux clairs, dans les studios corporate et les salles de conférence à cyclorama blanc, la caméra PTZ Canon CR-N400 White arrive avec la licence complète Auto Tracking RA-AT001 et un châssis discret qui se fond dans le décor. Sensibilité de suivi sur dix niveaux, cinq tailles de sujet, cadre cible repositionnable librement et cinq profils de tracking mémorisables : autant de réglages qui permettent de scénariser un défilé de mode, une démonstration produit ou un échange entre plusieurs hôtes en présence d'un seul cadreur — voire d'aucun.

Le bloc image conserve la signature broadcast de la gamme. Le capteur CMOS 1/2,3 pouce associé au processeur DIGIC DV7 enregistre du 4K UHD à 59,94p en 4:2:2 10 bits, avec une palette gamma incluant Canon Log 3, BT.709 Wide DR, HLG et PQ. L'optique 20x f/1,8–2,8 (3,67–73,4 mm, soit environ 30 à 616 mm en équivalent 35 mm) couvre des plans larges de plateau et grimpe à 40x en Full HD pour rapporter un visage depuis la mezzanine d'un théâtre, le fond d'une salle de presse ou la tribune d'une enceinte sportive.

Côté intégration, la Canon CR-N400 White Auto Tracking PTZ Camera aligne la connectique attendue par les régies multi-caméras : 12G-SDI, HDMI type A, USB-C 3.0, RS-422 sur RJ45 et port LAN 1000Base-T capable de servir NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP/RTP ainsi que le protocole Canon XC. Le support PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) regroupe l'alimentation, le contrôle IP, le tally et le flux dans un seul câble Cat-6, pratique pour les installations où les chemins de câbles sont déjà saturés par l'infrastructure existante.
