Libec LX-ePed 2 est un piédestal vidéo électrique pour caméras PTZ, destiné aux plateaux broadcast, aux studios de streaming et aux régies multicaméras où le cadrage vertical doit rester constant pendant la prise. La version avec écarteur au sol intègre une colonne motorisée et accepte une charge jusqu’à 10 kg, ce qui convient à de nombreuses configurations PTZ avec tally, boîtier d’interface ou petits accessoires de plateau. La hauteur de travail atteint 98,5 à 250 cm, avec une course motorisée de 400 mm, ce qui permet de passer rapidement d’un cadrage assis à un plan présentateur debout sans déplacer la base. En pratique, c’est très utile en studio news, captation de cours, webcast d’entreprise ou production de culte en direct.

La vitesse de montée/descente se règle en continu de 10 à 30 mm/s, et la télécommande fournie permet de mémoriser trois positions. Ce point apporte un vrai avantage sur un plateau partagé: un preset pour plan large, un pour interview, un pour démonstration produit. Libec met aussi en avant un démarrage/arrêt progressif et une réduction du flottement de la colonne pendant le mouvement, ce qui rend le Libec LX-ePed 2 exploitable en recadrage discret pendant un direct, en correction de hauteur pendant une émission ou en repositionnement précis entre deux séquences.

Le système repose sur une commande filaire, un choix apprécié dans les installations fixes où la stabilité de liaison prime sur le sans-fil. Le piédestal utilise un câble LAN de 30 m pour le contrôleur et un câble d’alimentation de 3 m; l’alimentation accepte 100 à 240 V AC, avec option batterie pour certaines configurations mobiles. Le plateau prend une fixation caméra en 1/4" avec pion vidéo, et accepte aussi des têtes vidéo 100 mm ou 75 mm (avec adaptateur optionnel). Les points de fixation accessoires en 1/4" et 3/8", le niveau intégré et la conception sécurisée de la colonne en font une base pertinente non seulement pour les caméras PTZ, mais aussi pour des montages compacts studio, têtes POV et rigs spécialisés demandant un positionnement vertical précis.

The Libec LX-ePed 2 is a motorized base specifically designed for PTZ cameras. The tripod is equipped with a motorized center column and remote control for easy height adjustment and offers a load capacity of up to 10 kg. The base is equipped with a bottom spacer (max. height 250 cm).

This patented product line is the world's first electric line of PTZ camera bases and is used in all types of PTZ filming in broadcast and production. This new Libec LX-ePed successor model now includes position presets, supports IP connectivity and serial communication when combined with the new optional multi-protocol converter"MPC-1". With it, the LX-ePed 2 can be controlled by PTZ controllers and the original PC application, the LX-ePed PC APP, which offers various optional settings.

Smart quick release adapter
Included in the package is a smart quick release adapter "AP-X" that allows you to attach/detach your camera more securely, easily and quickly. To prevent the attached PTZ camera from falling, the adapter is equipped with a hole for attaching a safety rope.

IP connection and serial communication
Using the optional multi-protocol converter "MPC-1", the new LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio models can work with PTZ controllers and the original LX-ePed PC APP, allowing for precise setup. This unique feature enhances the accessibility of the electric pedestal.

Remote control
The new remote control can store up to three preset positions, making it easy to adjust the height. The remote control adds a lifting element to the pan, tilt and zoom functions. This will provide multiple "viewing angles" and make setup easier.

Smooth and precise movements
The original column mechanism minimizes wobble and spin when the base moves up/down. In addition, the column is mechanically controlled with precision, allowing for smooth starting and stopping movements, making these electric bases ideal for "on shot" scenes.

Continuous speed adjustment
The speed of the top column can be adjusted by tilting the control lever. Slow motion mode allows fine tuning of the settings.

Highly reliable cable connection system
The LX-ePed 2 does not use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, allowing users to focus on shooting without worrying about interference from radio waves. In addition, the controller is powered through the main part of the electrical base, so no additional power source or charger is needed.

Compatible with flat base with 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes
Includes "AP-X" adapter with 1/4" screw and "BL-F" adapter with 3/8" screw. These adapters support not only PTZ cameras, but also a wide range of devices equipped with 1/4" or 3/8" threads, which can now be mounted on the LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio.

Compatibility with video heads
By removing the "BL-F" adapter component, a video head with a 100mm ball base can be mounted on the LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed 2 Studio. In addition, by using the optional "AD-75" adapter, a video head with a 75mm ball base can also be mounted.

Compact design
The main unit can be separated from the strut for easy transportation, with all components being collapsible. This compact unit can be stored in the optional RC-80 tripod case.

High angle shots
Dynamic high angle shots can be achieved with a maximum height of 250 cm.

User friendly port for accessories
The accessory port, which has a 1/4" and 3/8" screw hole, is located on two of the three sides of the tripod base.

Safety design
With safety in mind, the power pole is carefully designed to prevent users from injuring their fingers.
