Le blanc n'est pas un détail cosmétique : dans une régie aux murs clairs, un atrium d'entreprise ou un amphi universitaire, la teinte du boîtier conditionne la discrétion visuelle de l'installation. La Canon CR-N100 White reprend l'architecture de sa déclinaison noire mais s'intègre aux plafonds clairs et aux décors lumineux des plateaux TV. Au cœur du boîtier : capteur CMOS 1/2,3 pouce, processeur DIGIC DV6 et bloc zoom optique 20x f=3,67–73,4 mm, F/1,8–2,8 à diaphragme circulaire 8 lamelles pour un piqué net sur les longues focales.

La caméra capte en 4K UHD jusqu'à 30P en 4:2:2 10 bits, et passe à 60p en Full HD pour les retransmissions sportives ou les performances scéniques rapides. La Hybrid AF mêle détection de phase et détection de contraste, complétée par Face AF et Tracking AF qui gardent l'orateur cadré pendant un keynote, une table ronde ou une interview à distance. Gain de 0 à 36 dB, sensibilité autour de 1,5 lux, filtre ND interne à gradation (1/8 max, motorisé) et mode nuit IR cut-off couvrent un large spectre d'usages, des scènes de théâtre aux relais en extérieur.

Côté multi-caméras, la Canon CR-N100 White se branche aux régies IP via NDI|HX, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS et RTSP/RTP, avec XC et Standard Communication pour les pupitres joystick déjà déployés. Un câble RJ45 transporte alimentation PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) et flux vidéo sur les longues distances. Les sorties HDMI, USB-C 3.1 et RS-422 (RJ45) servent les feeds parallèles, la visioconférence et le pilotage série. Jusqu'à 100 préréglages s'allient à des vitesses Pan/Tilt de 0,2 à 300°/sec — assez lentes pour un travelling, assez rapides pour suivre un musicien sur scène.

L'application Auto Tracking RA-AT001 (Lite), gratuite via le firmware d'août 2025, suit un sujet sélectionné automatiquement ; la version sous licence ajoute le cadrage multi-personnes, le suivi assis/debout et cinq profils mémorisés — précieux pour les captations non supervisées, les cours hybrides ou les compétitions e-sport. Smooth and precise control
The CR-N100 has a high-precision drive mechanism for fine Pan and Tilt movement as slow as 0.2°/s. Compatible with the RC-IP100 controller and Remote Camera Control Application controllers, it can also be configured with selected third-party units.

Precise focusing with Hybrid AF
Combining high-precision contrast AF with high-speed phase-detection AF, the CR-N100 delivers rapid and accurate focusing of the subject, even in low light conditions.

The CR-N100 PTZ camera has an external sensor measuring subject distance, and compares the point of focus with that determined by the Contrast AF system. This Auto Focus system delivers faster and more accurate focussing than conventional contrast AF, assisting the camera operator.
