Au centre de la Canon CR-N700 Black se trouve un capteur CMOS de type 1.0 pouce associé au processeur DIGIC DV7, capable de produire un signal 4K UHD 60P en 4:2:2 10 bits — le niveau de qualité exigé par les régisseurs pour la diffusion en direct. Avec un seuil d'éclairement minimal d'environ 3 lux et un mode infrarouge commutable, cette caméra PTZ maintient une image exploitable en faible luminosité : plateaux en ambiance tamisée, salles de spectacle ou surveillance nocturne. Le filtre ND motorisé à quatre positions ajuste l'exposition sans compromettre la profondeur de champ, et le diaphragme à neuf lamelles offre un bokeh naturel et progressif.
Le système Dual Pixel CMOS AF intègre la technologie EOS iTR AF X, un moteur d'apprentissage profond qui détecte les têtes, suit les yeux et priorise les visages avec une réactivité exceptionnelle. Lors d'une captation sportive multi-caméras ou d'un événement corporate en direct, cette précision réduit les risques de décrochage du sujet. Le zoom optique 15x couvre un équivalent 35 mm de 25,5 à 382,5 mm, extensible à 30x en Full HD. Le stabilisateur optique compense les vibrations lors des mouvements pan-tilt, dont la vitesse descend jusqu'à 0,1°/s pour une fluidité cinématographique et monte à 100°/s pour un repositionnement rapide.
Côté connectique, les sorties 12G-SDI et HDMI véhiculent des flux 4K 60P 4:2:2 10 bits, et le streaming IP exploite NDI|HX, SRT à débit adaptatif, RTMP/RTMPS et RTSP/RTP. Le protocole FreeD transmet les données de positionnement vers quatre destinations pour la production virtuelle. Les entrées GEN-LOCK et TIME CODE garantissent une synchronisation image par image, et les deux entrées audio XLR symétriques évitent le recours à un boîtier audio externe.
La fonction de recadrage extrait jusqu'à deux flux Full HD depuis l'image 4K — l'équivalent d'une deuxième position caméra, utile lors de tables rondes ou conférences. Le suivi automatique (Lite), l'enregistrement en Canon Log 3 et en HDR aux formats PQ et HLG, les 100 préréglages programmables et l'alimentation PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) par câble unique font de la Canon CR-N700 Black un outil fiable pour les retransmissions sportives, les émissions de plateau, la captation éducative et la couverture d'événements en régie déportée.

Crop function – single camera, two video feeds
Select and extract a point of interest via a separate feed. The chosen area can then be output as a main or secondary signal and up to two cropped areas can be set in FHD.
Smooth and precise control
The CR-N700 has a high-precision drive mechanism for fine Pan and Tilt movement as slow as 0.1°/s. Compatible with the RC-IP1000, the RC-SK5, the RC-IP100 controller and Remote Camera Control Application controllers.

Auto Framing features include Multi-Person Framing, that detects and includes multiple people in the frame, while Face Direction Framing and Sit/Stand Framing deliver natural composition for a single person in frame. Additionally, RTMP/SRT auto reconnection and improved camera control from the iOS app is now included.
