Les exploitants de captation multi-caméra cherchent souvent une tête PTZ capable de gérer seule la prise de vue d'un orateur sans monopoliser un cadreur. La Canon CR-N300 Black Auto Tracking répond à cette attente en intégrant dès la sortie de boîte la licence RA-AT001 payante : l'algorithme de suivi automatique tourne directement sur la caméra, sans serveur externe. Son capteur CMOS 1/2,3 pouce associé au processeur DIGIC DV6 fournit un enregistrement 4K UHD jusqu'à 30p et du Full HD jusqu'à 59,94p, avec une sensibilité minimale d'environ 1,5 lux pour les salles à éclairage scénique modulé.

L'objectif zoom optique 20x (f = 3,67–73,4 mm, F/1,8–2,8) couvre du grand-angle au téléobjectif, complété par un zoom numérique 20x, un diaphragme circulaire à huit lamelles et un filtre ND à gradation jusqu'à 1/8. L'autofocus hybride combine détection de contraste et détection de phase haute vitesse, ce qui permet d'accrocher rapidement un présentateur en déplacement lors d'une démonstration produit ou d'une conférence avec déambulation. La mécanique de pan-tilt couvre ±170° en horizontal et -30° à +90° en vertical, avec une vitesse réglable de 0,2° à 300° par seconde.

La connectique de la CR-N300 répond aux attentes d'un studio professionnel : 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB Type-C, RJ45 1000Base-T, contrôle RS-422, gen-lock et entrée micro mini-jack. Les protocoles NDI|HX, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP/RTP, FreeD et le XC propriétaire Canon facilitent l'intégration dans vMix, OBS ou TriCaster. L'alimentation PoE+ par câble LAN unique (IEEE 802.3at) achemine vidéo, commande, tally et énergie — un atout pour les installations encastrées et les régies mobiles.

Hybrid AF for precise focus
The CR-N300 combines high-precision contrast AF with high-speed phase-detection AF, ensuring rapid and accurate focusing of the subject, even in low light conditions. Equipped with a bespoke external sensor which measures the distance to the subject and compares the point of focus with that determined by the Contrast AF system. This Hybrid AF system is particularly effective in low light situations and provides fast, accurate and reliable Autofocus with greater accuracy than Contrast AF alone.

Flexible connectivity for your workflow
The CR-N300 features a whole host of connections to ensure the ultimate flexibility in workflows. Featuring a HDMI port which can achieve 4K UHD, 4:2:2 10-bit. The camera also boasts a 3G-SDI port, USB Port, 3.5mm Audio Input and a PoE+ LAN port.

Smooth, precise control
The CR-N300 is equipped with a high-precision drive mechanism, enabling the Pan and Tilt movement to be finely adjusted at variable speeds using controllers such as RC-IP100, Canon Remote Camera Control Application or a tablet via Wi-Fi, to capture the perfect shot.

Auto Framing features include Multi-Person Framing, that detects and includes multiple people in the frame, while Face Direction Framing and Sit/Stand Framing deliver natural composition for a single person in frame. Additionally, RTMP/SRT auto reconnection and improved camera control from the iOS app is now included.
