BrightSign XT245 is an XT5 Series solid-state signage player for installations where 8K playback and deterministic uptime matter: control rooms, broadcast foyers, premium retail walls and corporate studios. The video engine handles single-stream 8K60p H.265 in 10-bit, plus dual 4K60 decode for layered compositions and picture-in-picture. Color pipelines cover HDR10/HLG with Rec.2020, while the browser stack supports HTML5/WebGL and OpenGL content for dashboards fed by live data.
On the output side, a single HDMI 2.1a port carries full-bandwidth 8K signage or non-standard aspect ratios for DVLED canvases and portrait arrays. The player supports 4K rotation, 8K full-resolution graphics mode, and professional media containers such as .ts, .mov, .mp4 and .mkv across H.265/H.264 workflows.
