Barco ClickShare C-5 Gen2 is a compact wireless presentation hub for huddle and small meeting rooms. It natively supports AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast, plus the ClickShare Desktop/Mobile App for BYOD workflows. Output is 4K UHD 3840×2160 @30 Hz over HDMI 1.4b or USB-C DisplayPort 1.2, with audio via HDMI. One source is rendered on the room display; up to 32 user devices can stay connected concurrently for swift handover. Video performance follows host CPU/GPU and network quality.
Gen2 hardware adds front USB-A 3.0 and USB-C 3.0 ports, plus Gigabit Ethernet for policy management. The radio supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac in 2.4/5 GHz, with adjustable reach up to 30 m (100 ft) between Button and Base Unit. Security includes WPA2-PSK in stand-alone mode and 802.1X when network-integrated; the ClickShare platform maintains ISO 27001 certification. Authentication and traffic are encrypted, with configurable SSID and channel plans for dense RF environments.
XMS Cloud enables fleet monitoring, remote configuration, firmware orchestration and usage analytics; C-5 also supports local web administration. The base measures 34 × 135 × 135 mm and weighs 900 g for discreet wall or display-back mounting. Typical power draw is 5–10 W (24 W max) from a standard 110/220 V adapter or USB-C power on Gen2. Noise remains under 25 dBA in normal operation. HDMI audio passthrough feeds monitors, switchers or capture cards without extra converters.
