Built around a two-stage column with a 66 cm stroke and a maximum payload of 25 kg, this Italian-engineered system raises a PTZ camera from 57 cm all the way up to 254 cm without introducing vibration or audible motor noise into the shot. The included SDS 2-stage aluminium tripod and patented Smart Lock mid-level spreader lock together in seconds thanks to the no-bind quick-deployment mechanism, giving the entire assembly outstanding torsional rigidity even at full extension.

Integration with existing PTZ infrastructure is straightforward. The dedicated RX Box accepts connections from Panasonic, Sony, VISCA and Skaarhoj controllers via Ethernet, so the camera operator can store up to 30 height presets and recall them at variable speed directly from the joystick — pan, tilt, zoom and elevation all managed from a single desk. A TX Box powered by Polecam ships in the package as well, enabling standalone operation or programming through optional foot pedals. For facilities running Bitfocus Companion, a dedicated module lets operators trigger column moves from a Stream Deck alongside their switcher macros, which is particularly useful during services or live-streamed panel discussions where repeatable camera positions matter.

The Cartoni Lifto 25 /S Pro arrives ready to mount cameras such as the Canon CR-N700, Canon CR-N500, Panasonic AW-UE160, Sony FR7 or BirdDog XL Ultra, secured by a safe-release camera plate and an additional safety ring. Adding a second camera is possible with the optional T-bar, while an optional dolly turns the setup into a mobile studio pedestal that can glide across a flat floor between takes. Every connection runs through a 3.0 m XLR motor cable, and the dual-voltage 24 V DC power supply includes both EU and US plugs — a detail that matters when equipment travels between continents for touring productions or international broadcast events.
