Libec HS-150MQC is a compact 75 mm bowl / flat-base tripod system for crews running mirrorless, DSLR and small cinema or ENG camcorders where repeatable moves matter. The kit pairs the H15 fluid head with QL40C carbon-fibre legs, a BR-2B mid-level spreader and FP-1B rubber feet, so it stays planted on studio floors, location concrete, or uneven backstage surfaces. The leg set uses quick locks for rapid changes between takes, and the mid-level spreader keeps torsion under control when one leg lands on a stair or cable ramp.

The head carries up to 3 kg and uses Libec’s continuous “Perfect Balance” counterbalance with an illuminated meter. The counterbalance dial references a 1–100 scale so operators can note settings and return to them after a lens swap. It covers 0.8–2 kg at a 55 mm centre-of-gravity height, letting you trim lightweight camera bodies with kit zooms as well as small cine builds with matte box, wireless RX and on-board monitor—without the “fall-forward” feeling at steep tilt angles. Counterbalance stays neutral through the full tilt arc, so a stop-start move doesn’t bounce.

For motion control, pan and tilt each offer free + 3 drag steps built on a multilayered metal drag unit that keeps backlash low, even in harsh weather from −40 to +60 °C. Tilt travels +90° to −70° for high-angle podium coverage or low-angle product shots, and an LED-lit bubble level speeds up levelling in dim venues—handy when a long lens makes any micro-judder visible.

Fast rig changes come from the sliding plate system compatible with common Manfrotto and Sachtler plates, with fore–aft balance travel of ±30 mm. The plate supports 1/4″ and 3/8″ camera screws, and the head/legs include threaded points for a monitor arm, compact LED or wireless video bracket. The flat base carries a 3/8″-16 thread, so you can move the head straight onto a slider or skater dolly for interview push-ins or live-stream cutaways, then pack it into the included RC-30 case.
