Libec LX-7RM Video Tripod

Libec LX-7RM is a 75 mm video tripod system for crews that need stable support and predictable pan/tilt response with camera payloads up to 8 kg. The set includes the LX7 fluid head, RT30RB two-stage aluminum legs, BR-2B mid-level spreader, FP-2B large rubber feet and an RC-20 transport case. It fits common broadcast and production setups: ENG camcorders, compact cinema cameras, PTZ controller rigs, or mirrorless bodies with monitor, wireless audio and battery plates.

The LX7 head uses fixed counterbalance and fixed drag, which gives a consistent operating feel between locations without re-tuning the head for every move. A 75 mm ball base supports quick levelling on uneven floors, pavement or event platforms, and the head tilts from +90° to -80° for high-angle and low-angle framing. The sliding camera plate offers ±40 mm travel for front-to-back balance, with a 1/4"-20 screw and locating pin for secure camera mounting. Independent pan and tilt locks support fast repositioning during live switching or multi-camera resets.

For production work, Libec LX-7RM also provides practical mounting capacity: three 1/4"-20 and three 3/8"-16 threaded accessory points for monitor arms, audio receiver brackets, timecode boxes or compact transmitters. The operating temperature range from -20°C to +60°C supports outdoor use in winter news gathering, sports coverage and hot event venues. A built-in bubble level speeds up setup when changing from interviews to stage coverage or locked streaming angles.

The height range of 81 to 165.5 cm covers seated interviews, standing presenters and podium shots, while the mid-level spreader keeps the tripod usable on stairs, rough ground and crowded studio floors where floor spreaders often get in the way. Large rubber feet add grip on indoor surfaces, and the included handle plus RC-20 case help crews move quickly between OB vans, conference halls, multicam sets and rental dispatches.
