Libec NX-200MQC Video Tripod

Libec NX-200MQC is a carbon-fibre tripod system for broadcast-style cameras and rigged mirrorless/cinema bodies that still need a true 75 mm bowl and repeatable fluid drag. At the centre is the NH20 head with a multilayer metal drag module: pan/tilt runs in Free plus 3-step drag, while counterbalance is Free plus 5-step so you can park a camera on angle without fighting spring tension. The tilt range reaches +90° / -70° for high and low framing, and the illuminated bubble level stays readable in dark studios or OB vans. The head is rated for operation from -40°C to +60°C, useful for field work and hot stage lighting.

With a verified 4 kg payload, NX-200MQC targets real-world ENG kits: camcorder with top handle, wireless audio, compact matte box, small teleprompter or on-camera monitor. The sliding plate gives ±30 mm balance travel for fast lens swaps, and the platform uses the common 1/4" screw with video pin. A one-touch plate latch speeds camera drop-in when talent is on mic. Multiple 1/4" and 3/8" accessory threads on head and legs simplify mounting arms, receivers or tally light brackets without improvising clamps.

The system ships on QL40C 2-stage carbon legs with a mid-level spreader for stable stance on uneven terrain—stairs, gravel, platform decks—where a ground spreader becomes a liability. FP-1B rubber feet grip polished floors for studio interviews and can be swapped for spikes when you move outside. Carbon legs damp small vibrations during slow pans on long focal lengths. For crews rotating between handheld, tripod and slider setups, the dual-base interface (75 mm bowl / flat base) keeps the head at home on jibs, sliders or skater dollies.

NX-200MQC fits fast workflows: news gathering, live streaming in venues, corporate keynote capture, multicam podcast studios and documentary packs. It comes with the RC-30 carrying case, so the support rig travels as a single unit and lands on set ready for levelling, locking and rolling.
