Libec SVF-7 Pro is a 7-inch Full HD studio camera viewfinder for broadcast and multi-camera production, where the operator needs a stable image, direct signal routing and clear tally visibility. It uses a TFT-LCD panel with 1920 × 1080 resolution, 350 cd/m² brightness, a 170° viewing angle and 16.7 million colors, so framing and focus remain readable even when the operator is not positioned exactly in front of the screen.

For integration in a studio, flypack or OB setup, the unit provides 3G-SDI input/output, a dedicated SDI return input, HDMI input/output and a 20-pin camera connection for analog HD component signals (YPbPr / RGB). Libec also lists automatic recognition of supported formats, including 1080p, 1080i, 1080PsF and 720p frame-rate variants. This is practical in television studios, streaming control rooms and live event systems where one viewfinder may be reassigned between main, backup and rehearsal camera positions without repeated signal setup.

The SVF-7 Pro viewfinder includes front and rear tally indicators with adjustable brightness, plus direct controls for brightness, contrast and peaking. In on-air production, that combination helps operators react faster to program/preview status and keep edge detail visible under strong lighting. Manufacturer and reseller materials also reference waveform, vectorscope and marker functions, which support exposure checks, framing guides and aspect confirmation during studio setup, talk shows, sports coverage, house of worship streaming and corporate live production.

Libec specifies a magnesium-alloy body and large grip handles for frequent angle changes, and the specification sheet shows bracket adjustment for tilt and horizontal positioning. The camera cable and shoe attachment are not included, so the correct CA-7S, CA-7I or CA-7H kit is selected to match the camera system.
