The SHAPE Sony FS7, FS7M2 Lightweight Plate FS7LW is a baseplate for Sony FS7 and FS7M2 cameras. Constructed from CNC-machined aluminum, it offers robust 15 mm LWS rod support, facilitating the attachment of essential accessories like follow focuses and matte boxes. The design preserves the camera’s original shoulder-mount ergonomics, ensuring user comfort during extended shoots. Equipped with standard ARRI rosettes on both sides, it allows for the secure attachment of handles or remote extensions, enhancing operational flexibility. The included V-Lock adapter plate ensures quick and reliable mounting on VCT tripod adapter plates, streamlining transitions between handheld and tripod setups. Additionally, the baseplate provides both 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 camera screws, ensuring versatile and secure mounting options. A pair of 8-inch 15 mm rods is included, ready to support a variety of accessories, thereby expanding your shooting capabilities.

This small baseplate was designed to be used with the Sony FS7 or FS7M2 camera shoulder pad. Compact and lightweight, this is a perfect baseplate for a run & gun solution for your FS7 or FS7M2. This plate will allow you to mount different accessories with the front rods, and you can use the standard Arri rosette on each sides to attach a remote extension handle (FS7LWBR) or a telescopic handle with our red Push-Button technology (HAND3).

Underneath is a ‘delta’ quick release wedge which is fully compatible with all standard ‘VCT’ tripod adaptor plates. The wedge can be removed to expose standard 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads for mounting on other tripod plates.
