The SHAPE 15mm Lightweight Baseplate for Sony FX6 is a custom-designed support system that aligns perfectly with the camera’s optical center. Constructed from durable aluminum, it offers dual secure mounting points using 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 screws, ensuring stability during operation. The baseplate includes removable 15mm rod clamps on both the front and back, allowing for versatile accessory integration. A pair of 12” 15mm aluminum rods are provided, facilitating the attachment of various compatible accessories. Multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes on the bottom of the baseplate enable flexible mounting options on tripods or other support systems. Additionally, rubber pads on top of the baseplate protect the camera from scratches and provide a secure fit. This lightweight yet sturdy baseplate is an essential addition for Sony FX6 setup with reliable support and accessory compatibility.

The lightweight baseplate with a 15 mm rod system is designed to match the Sony FX6 optical center. It features two attachment points (1/4-20 and 3/8-16) for securely mounting the Sony FX6 body. The baseplate also comes with a pair of 15 mm rods that are 12” long through the length of the baseplate. The bottom of the plate features several 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting holes for mounting and balancing your camera on equipment like a tripod.
