SmallHD Indie 7 RED RCP2 Kit delivers uncompromising monitoring for crews who refuse compromises. Its 7.02-inch IPS touchscreen packs a dense 1920 × 1200 panel, 1000 nits of daylight output, 323 ppi detail and 10-bit processing inside a 1000:1-contrast aluminium shell—letting focus pullers judge exposure in full sun without a hood.

Dual full-size HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI ports accept signals up to UHD 4K30 or 1080p60 and cross-convert downstream, while embedded 8-channel audio is metered on-screen and routed to a 3.5 mm jack. An SD slot ingests 33-point LUTs, and the micro-USB port handles firmware and accessory control.

The kit’s licence unlocks native RED RCP2 control of KOMODO, KOMODO-X and DSMC3 / V-RAPTOR cameras via the supplied EXT-to-USB cable—start/stop, white-balance, shutter, ISO and metadata adjust instantly from the capacitive interface. PageOS 5 overlays—waveform, vectorscope, EL Zone, horizon, Teradek RT lens data—can live beside camera menus for a truly unified workflow.

Power comes from a hot-swappable L-Series plate or 10–34 V barrel; at only 17.3 W the monitor sips energy on 14-hour days. Four ¼-20 threads, 737 g weight and –1 °C to 38 °C operating range complete a kit engineered for run-and-gun, live multicam and studio builds where reliability, colour precision and robust camera integration are non-negotiable.
