Teradek Bolt 6 LT MAX TX is a professional wireless video transmitter for crews who need true zero-delay links on busy sets. It moves video in the 6 GHz band with fall-back to 5 GHz, delivering UHD 4K up to 30p via HDMI and 1080p up to 60p via 3G-SDI with 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR. With the optional panel Array and Broadcast Mode, line-of-sight range reaches 5000 ft (1524 m); with the included flexible H antennas you can cover up to 3000 ft (914 m). Cross-compatible with Bolt 4K receivers on 5 GHz and Bolt 6 systems on 6 GHz, it keeps multicam workflows in sync without cabling or delay.
Connectivity is straightforward: HDMI 1.4b input, 3G-SDI input, and a 3G-SDI loop-out for on-camera monitors or recorders. The unit handles UHD 4K 23.98/24/25/29.97/30 over HDMI and the full 1080p/i/psf matrix up to 60 over SDI, carrying two-channel 24-bit 48 kHz LPCM audio. HDMI-to-SDI cross-conversion feeds legacy devices, while metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags are passed wirelessly. Transport is visually lossless with ~0.1 ms latency, suitable for live switching and focus pulling.
RF performance is hardened for congested venues and operates across U-NII-5/6/7 and DFS ranges with 20/40 MHz channels. AES-256 encryption with RSA-1024 key exchange secures links, and RF noise rejection enables up to six receivers per transmitter in standard mode—or unlimited receivers in Broadcast Mode. Management is via the Bolt App (Bluetooth) and Bolt Manager for desktop, with spectrum analysis and manual channel selection.
The compact chassis (103 × 60 × 33 mm; 206 g) mounts via 1/4″-20 and M3 points, draws 9 W from a locking 2-pin 6–28 VDC input, and runs from 0–40 °C. The kit includes SDI cable, D-Tap power, AC supply, and two antennas. For studio, OB, and event production, Bolt 6 LT MAX TX provides a resilient 6 GHz link with cross-standard I/O and security for mission-critical monitoring.
