The Teradek Bolt 6 Monitor Module 750 Int Ant RX Gold Mount is a zero-delay wireless video receiver for SmallHD Smart 7 monitors (Cine 7, 702 Touch, Indie 7). It locks to the rear battery bay, shares power and video with the screen, and removes cable clutter and fragile whips thanks to five internal 2 dBi antennas. Working in the newly opened 6 GHz spectrum where permitted and in 5 GHz worldwide, it carries visually lossless UHD 4K30 with 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR and embedded audio, delivering stable monitoring for demanding sets.

Power distribution is consolidated. The integrated Gold Mount plate powers both receiver and monitor from a single brick, while a locking 2-pin input accepts 6–18 VDC. Typical draw is 7 W. The chassis measures 122 × 94 × 27 mm and weighs 292 g, keeping the Smart 7 footprint balanced on handheld rigs, steadicams, or a director’s station. With the Bolt App, crews gain spectrum analysis, pairing, channel selection in auto or manual modes, and RF diagnostics without leaving video village.

RF resilience is engineered. The 6 GHz allocation (U-NII-5/6/7/8) reduces contention with Wi-Fi, while DFS-compliant 5 GHz channels maintain continuity across regions. Security uses AES-256 with RSA-1024 key exchange. Latency remains under 0.001 s, with support for ancillary data including timecode and run/stop flags. A single transmitter can feed up to six receivers so director, focus, DIT and script view the same frame with matched timing up to 750 ft line of sight, 230 m.

Bolt 6 monitor receivers pair natively with Bolt 6 transmitters and are cross-compatible with Bolt 4K XT/LT over 5 GHz, with effective range governed by the shortest-range device. Video to the SmallHD is via HDMI up to 3840×2160p30. Integration with the Smart 7 platform enables wireless camera control on supported cameras via licensed accessories, consolidating power, control and monitoring into a single, field-ready module for broadcast trucks, live multicam and narrative features.
