Teradek Bolt 6 XT 1500 RX V-Mount is a zero-delay wireless video receiver for crews who require 4K60 monitoring without compromise. It accepts DCI/UHD 4K60 in 10-bit 4:2:2 via 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, maintaining visually lossless quality with sub-1 ms latency. Operating across the newly opened 6 GHz (U-NII-5) spectrum with fallback to 5 GHz, it minimizes congestion on busy stages and OB vans. Line-of-sight range reaches 1500 ft (≈457 m), enabling reliable village and multi-camera links on features, live events and studio floors.
The receiver outputs simultaneously over 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 and carries ancillary data including timecode and start/stop flags. It supports camera control (via 5-pin interface with optional license), and passes Rec.2020 HDR. A built-in SDI Eye Pattern tool aids cable integrity checks. For system topology, one transmitter can serve up to six receivers, with channel bandwidth selectable at 20 or 40 MHz and robust noise rejection to run multiple sets on the same location. Regional bands cover 5.19–5.23, 5.27–5.67, 5.755–5.795 and 5.94–6.42 GHz
Security and management are handled at a professional level: AES-256 encryption with RSA-1024 key pairing protects links, while Bluetooth connectivity to the Bolt Manager desktop utility or mobile app provides spectrum analysis, manual channel selection and remote configuration. The unit pairs with Bolt 6 transmitters on 6 GHz and remains cross-compatible with Bolt 4K systems over 5 GHz for mixed fleets and phased migrations.
The XT 1500 RX integrates a rugged V-Mount plate and 2-pin LEMO power (6–28 VDC) with 18 W draw. Five RP-SMA antennas and milled aluminum housing ensure stable RF performance. Mounting points include 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads. Physical specs: 139 × 112 × 27 mm; 430 g. Package includes cables, five antennas and PSU for rapid deployment in broadcast trucks, control rooms and location carts.
