Teradek RT Single Channel Kit (CTRL.1, MDR.S, MOTR.S) delivers a wireless lens control workflow for focus, iris or zoom in professional cinema and broadcast. A 5,000 ft (1,524 m) line-of-sight range using FHSS at 2.4 GHz with a replaceable external antenna maintains a solid link on crowded sets and multicam trucks. SmallHD overlays place distance, marks and scale directly on-monitor, so the focus puller keeps eyes on the frame while critical data stays visible.

The CTRL.1 hand unit brings a high-contrast OLED, a large damped knob and lens mapping for repeatable marks across a full shoot day. A single LP-E6 battery runs for up to 36 hours, and start/stop is available via MDR.S over the camera control port. The MDR.S receiver manages up to three axes and daisy-chains motors for a clean layout, exposes Bluetooth control through the Teradek RT iOS app, and accepts wide-range input up to 28 V.

The compact MOTR.S drives cinema glass with a 0.8 MOD gear, peak torque to 0.55 Nm and speeds up to 320 rpm, delivering fast, near-silent response for narrative, live and studio. Streamlined cable management uses low-profile 0B connectors, and the low-mass housing mounts on 15/19 mm rods. Precision is maintained through tight backlash control and low radio latency across the RT link, yielding confident pulls at shallow T-stops.

The kit includes focus rings, motor gear, antenna, power and control cables, and mounting hardware for immediate deployment. For teams standardising on Teradek RT, this Single Channel Kit closes the loop with SmallHD monitors and the RT app to form a compact, accurate follow focus system for cinema primes, broadcast zooms and studio ENG, with field-proven range, runtime and reliability.
