VELVET CYC 4 Color Studio RGBW LED Beam (No Yoke)

VELVET CYC 4 is a compact RGBW cyclorama and wash fixture for studio grids that need controlled asymmetrical background light with full colour control. Four articulated battens form a continuous linear source that can be curved to adapt the vertical spread, covering cycloramas, fabric backdrops or LED volumes with even exposure. Asymmetrical optics project a 45° horizontal beam with a vertical field tuned between 45° and 95°, so the unit can sit close to the wall while still reaching backgrounds up to 4 m away with around 743 lux average level.

The RGBW light engine in VELVET CYC 4 offers a colour temperature range from 2500 K to 10000 K with continuous green–magenta adjustment from full Plusgreen to full Minusgreen. Typical colour rendering of 95 CRI and TLCI 94 / 93 at 3200 K and 5600 K suit television, streaming and virtual production. CCT, HSI, RGB, gel and effect modes provide calibrated whites, saturated primaries and subtle pastels, while a 16 kHz output frequency keeps the fixture flicker free up to 2000 fps for high-speed capture.

Onboard control combines shock-proof keys, a colour display and a 3200/5600 K key with 0–100% dimming. For system integration the unit includes DMX-RDM via 5-pin XLR plus Wi-Fi ArtNet and USB. Each of the four light engines can be addressed individually so programmers can build horizontal gradients, colour waves and multi-zone cues across long studio walls when several fixtures are rigged in a row.

With a 94 W power draw from its integrated 90–264 V AC supply, the fixture delivers efficient background illumination while remaining silent thanks to fan-free passive cooling. An IP21 rating and black anodised aluminium housing support daily use on TV stages, corporate webcast studios and theatre cycloramas. Combined with optional yokes, pole-operated brackets and barndoors, VELVET CYC 4 serves as a flexible RGBW cyclorama light for news sets, talk shows, e-sports stages and broadcast or streaming environments.
