VELVET Kosmos 200 Color is a compact, ballast-in-body RGBWW Fresnel for cinema, broadcast and live production where repeatable optics and fast recall are mandatory. Supplied in a no-yoke configuration, it integrates into studio grids, clamp mounts and pole-operated systems while keeping rigging hardware selectable per set, truck pack or rental spec.

The V5 light engine uses a full-spectrum R+G+B+W+CW ceramic COB with professional colour workflows: CTT (Kelvin white), HSI, CTT+RGB, plus virtual Gels and Effects, each retaining zoom control. In CTT, colour temperature is continuously adjustable from 2700–6500 K in 100 K steps; the Kelvin base can be referenced from 2500–10,000 K when mixing white with colour. Continuous green–magenta correction (full plusgreen to full minusgreen) supports fast camera matching, with colour rendering rated TLCI 96 at 3200 K and 98 at 5600 K.

Optics are handled by a motorized zoom Fresnel with a beam angle from 10° to 45°, adjustable locally or remotely for cue-based lighting. At 5600 K the fixture is specified at 10,700 lux @ 3 m (10°) and 3,840 lux @ 3 m (45°); at 6 m it delivers 2,510 lux (10°) and 1,040 lux (45°). Dimming is 0–100%, stepless, and flicker-free over 12,000 fps for high-speed capture and rolling-shutter sensitive cameras.

On-fixture control combines a display with rotary selectors, dedicated 3200 K / 5600 K access and mode buttons, plus wired DMX-RDM via 5-pin XLR and LAN. Wireless operation supports LumenRadio CRMX, Wi-Fi Art-Net and Bluetooth via the VELVET GOYA app for presets and profile sharing across units. Power draw is 230 W with Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 in/out; silent operation provides four fan modes including FAN OFF, backed by a sealed passive liquid-chamber cooling system. IP30 construction suits indoor stages and protected exterior work; optional V-Lock, B-Mount and Gold Mount battery plates support mobile ENG, OB vans, multicam streaming and location drama.
