VELVET Mini Power 2 IP54 is a compact long-throw bi-color LED panel for broadcast, streaming and location crews that need a narrow, high-output beam from a slim 2×1 footprint. A 100 W LED engine with a 35° field and TLCI values up to 96 delivers clean, consistent white light across the 2700–6500 K range, allowing precise matching to tungsten, daylight or mixed practical sources while preserving accurate skin tones on multi-camera productions.
At 8900 lux at 1 m and 1250 lux at 3 m, the fixture provides enough punch for key or backlight on news sets, magazine shows, small studios, OB vans and event stages with low hanging points. The concentrated beam can be reshaped using optional quarter, half or full diffusion and Snapgrid accessories to move from a tight, contrasty source to a controlled soft key. This makes the Mini Power 2 IP54 equally at home as a hard key through haze, a rim on standing talent or a bounced fill into ceilings and poly boards.
On-board control uses shock-resistant keys and a clear display for direct access to intensity and CCT in 100 K steps, with smooth 0–100% dimming driven at 16 kHz for flicker-free performance up to 2000 fps. DMX-RDM via 5-pin XLR provides remote level, color and address management plus master–slave linking for multi-fixture rigs in television studios, rental packages or fixed installations. User presets enable fast recall of frequently used looks during fast-turnaround live productions.
The IP54-rated aluminum housing, sealed connectors and passive, fanless cooling keep the VELVET Mini Power 2 IP54 operational in rain, dust and high-duty-cycle studio environments. Multiple 1/4-20 mounting points and the supplied yoke with junior / baby receiver simplify rigging to grids, stands or truss, while optional V-mount or Gold-mount plates and a 90–264 VAC smart PSU allow full-output operation from batteries or mains on corporate sets, live streaming stages, houses of worship and mobile production trucks.
