ARRI SkyPanel X21 Soft & Hard Light Package Black (Bare Ends CE) is the compact SkyPanel X format for crews who want one luminaire to cover native soft, refined hard and open-face bounce. The black housing keeps reflections subdued on glossy set pieces and LED stages, while the chassis and interface are sealed to IP66 for rain, spray and high humidity. A full-spectrum RGBACL engine spans 1,500–20,000 K and supports ARRI ALEXA sensor matching. Colour quality reaches CRI 99 with TLCI 93 typical in High CRI VariFan mode.

Maximum draw is 800 W from the integrated PSU, driving 4 light engines and up to 8 sealed pixel zones. With the included X21 HyPer Optic, output reaches 4,800 lx at 10 m at 5,600 K and a rounded hard beam (native angle approx. 11°) that holds through windows, haze and long throws. Fit the X21 Dome for approx. 107° soft coverage; remove front optics for native open-face (approx. 121°) with up to 51,809 lm for bounce into ultrabounce, muslin or ceilings.

Networking matches professional infrastructures: DMX-512A with RDM, plus Ethernet Art-Net 4 and sACN, with PTP/NTP timing support for consistent cueing. Wireless control is built in via CRMX (Classic/CRMX2), W-DMX, BLE and Bluetooth 5.0. The removable ALL-WEATHER Control Panel running LiOS3 gives direct access to CCT, HSI, gels, source matching and effects, with flicker-free, high-resolution dimming down to black. Pixel tools include 15 Pixel Macros and 15 effects.

This CE kit includes a 3 m powerCON TRUE1 TOP mains lead terminated in bare ends (16 A), simplifying tie-in to company switches, custom distro and permanent wiring. TRUE1 TOP power in/through and EtherCON-compatible RJ45 ports streamline daisy-chaining, and a 48 V DC input supports battery carts. Use it as a hard rim/backlight for multicam streaming, a window push on drama stages, a soft key for interviews, or weather-ready exterior fill with mapped pixel cues.
