Its 30x optical zoom — focal range 7.1 to 211.95 mm — pulls in tight close-ups from across an arena or concert stage, while a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux (F1.61) keeps the picture clean under dim house lights or low-light worship environments.
What sets this PTZ camera apart is the breadth of its simultaneous outputs. Two 12G-SDI ports, one HDMI 2.0 feed, a USB 3.0 UVC connection, and an IP stream via NDI|HX3 all run at full 4K resolution at the same time — a practical advantage when the switcher, a recorder, a confidence monitor, and the network encoder each need their own feed. Streaming via RTSP, RTMP, and SRT lets the camera push directly to on-premises servers or remote cloud platforms without an external encoder. Built-in FreeD data output enables real-time camera-tracking for AR/VR virtual studio work, eliminating external position sensors.
A U-shaped stepping motor pans ±175° and tilts from −30° to +90° with near-silent operation — critical in on-air studios, courtrooms, or lecture halls where motor hum would spoil audio. Pan speed reaches 100°/s; up to 255 presets are configurable via the web interface, while the included 360° infrared remote handles ten from any angle. A dual-colour tally light (red/green, brightness-adjustable) on front and rear panels gives talent and operators instant programme/preview status.
PoE+ powering keeps installation simple — one Ethernet cable carries power, control, and video, which suits ceiling mounts in conference rooms, houses of worship, or university lecture theatres. Control runs over VISCA, PELCO-D/P, VISCA over IP, and ONVIF, so the EAGLE P30-12G-NDI slots into broadcast-control ecosystems and IP campus networks without adapters. A 3.5 mm dual-channel audio input embeds line-level sound directly into the video stream — one less embedder on the kit list.
