Four camera sources, one operator, zero compromise on signal quality — the AVMATRIX Shark S4 Plus brings together 2× HDMI and 2× 3G-SDI inputs inside a compact, foldable chassis topped by a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 × 1080). Whether you are cutting a multi-camera church service, directing a corporate town-hall broadcast, or mixing feeds at an outdoor sporting event, the built-in screen delivers real-time multiview, source preview, program output, audio meters, and full menu access without an external monitor.
Streaming happens natively through the RJ45 Ethernet port using RTMP, RTMPS, or SRT protocols at bitrates from 2 to 32 Mbps in CBR or VBR mode — enough to push a clean 1080p signal to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or any custom ingest server. The USB Type-C output feeds a capture signal up to 1080p60 into OBS, vMix, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams, making the unit equally at home in a studio control room and a remote teleconference suite. Recording runs in parallel to SD card or USB drive in MP4 format, with selectable segments from 1 to 120 minutes and support for FAT32, exFAT, and NTFS.
On the creative side, T-bar, AUTO, and CUT transition controls are complemented by 11 × 3 wipe patterns plus Mix and DIP dissolves. A dedicated upstream keyer provides luma key, chroma key, and two simultaneous PiP windows or a POP layout, while the downstream keyer handles DSK overlays and logo insertion (PNG, BMP, JPG up to 600 × 600 px). The six-channel audio mixer combines embedded audio from all four video inputs with two external 3.5 mm stereo mic/line inputs, and an adjustable delay helps synchronise lip-sync across sources. A media library stores 39 preset patterns, 16 imported stills, and 16 captured frames alongside two colour generators — handy for lower thirds, holding slides, or test patterns during rehearsal.
