Bolin B-OSM-12 SFP Module

The Bolin B-OSM-12 SFP Module is a professional 12G-SDI optical SFP transceiver for SDI workflows that require long-distance single-mode fiber transport up to 10 kilometres. It handles full bandwidth 4K60 12G-SDI as well as SD, HD, 3G and 6G signals, carrying them over a single LC duplex connection while maintaining signal integrity for critical broadcast, live production and corporate video environments. Integrated support for SMPTE ST 259, ST 292-1, ST 424, ST 2081 and ST 2082 standards ensures reliable interoperability inside complex routing infrastructures.

Engineered for the Bolin PTZ ecosystem, the B-OSM-12 SFP Module populates the SFP slot of BC-9, B9, R9 and EXU series cameras and interfaces, providing an immediate optical SDI path without external converter boxes. The hot-pluggable SFP footprint allows field technicians to insert or swap the module directly in racks, flypacks or remote camera heads, while the robust metal enclosure reduces EMI in dense 12G-SDI environments, mobile units and OB vans.

Operating at a 1,310 nm wavelength with a single +3.3 V power rail, the module functions as a bidirectional 12G-SDI optical transceiver over single-mode fiber. A typical installation uses a pair of B-OSM-12 units to bridge camera positions, control rooms or stadium galleries over distances up to 10 km, while preserving support for 4K high frame rate workflows, embedded audio and ancillary data used by production switchers, replay servers and multiviewers.
