As part of the Series 6 HD6 family, the unit decodes a single 4K stream at 60 fps in 10-bit colour (H.265/HEVC and H.264) or two Full HD streams in parallel, with 10-bit HDR reproduction and hardware rotation for portrait installations. The Chromium-compatible HTML5 engine renders interactive 2D motion graphics smoothly, so menu layouts, dashboards, and live data feeds stay fluid; 4K IP streaming brings broadcast or camera signals onto the screen. A neural processing unit (NPU) handles edge-AI tasks such as audience analytics without borrowing performance from video decoding.
Interaction is where the HD1026 differs from its HD226 sibling. The added USB-A port powers touchscreens with 5 V/1 A and accepts BP200/BP900 button pads or the optional LTE modem, while the 3.5 mm serial port switches projectors and displays on schedule. GPIO contacts take motion sensors or physical buttons, IR covers legacy control, and audio leaves through analog or S/PDIF. Content plays from a microSD card seated in a secured internal socket; networking pairs Gigabit Ethernet with an optional wireless module. Typical duty: touch kiosks on the shop floor, sensor-triggered demos in showrooms, exhibition stands running on cellular where venue networking is unavailable.
