DZOFilm Gnosis Macro 32mm T2.8 (LPL/PL & EF, VV/FF) is a macro cine prime for full-frame and VistaVision cameras. It delivers true 1:1 magnification at a 0.167 m minimum focus, filling the frame with micro-texture while keeping a natural sense of space that longer macros compress. A fast T2.8 transmission keeps exposure predictable from near life-size to infinity and supports controlled depth for tabletop, pack-shots and field work.

The optical block uses 11 elements in 9 groups to maintain fine contrast and low aberrations across a generous Ø46.5 mm image circle. A 16-blade iris renders circular highlights through the range, and the engraved exposure scale includes compensation indices valuable when working at high ratios. Mechanics follow established cinema practice: 300° focus rotation for precise pulls, 0.8 MOD gears on both rings, and a concise, accurate 55° aperture rotation for repeatable iris cues.

Mount flexibility is integral. The lens ships in LPL and includes user-swappable PL and EF mounts, enabling quick moves between large-format cinema bodies and compact digital cameras. A standard 114 mm front interfaces directly with clip-on matte boxes, while the internal M105 filter thread accepts protection or diopters without adapters. Markings are metric and highly legible for ACs operating at close working distances under studio lighting.
