DZOFilm Pavo 2x Anamorphic 3-Lens Kit (28/40/75mm T2.1) PL Mount (S35) Neutral is a matched prime trio for Super 35 cinema cameras, built around a true 2x squeeze anamorphic signature. A constant T2.1 (T2.1–T22) and an φ31.5 mm image circle keep exposure and coverage uniform, while desqueeze workflows deliver wide framing up to 2.66:1 from 4:3 capture for feature, TV and premium streaming acquisition, without resorting to a digital crop.

Optical layouts stay consistent: 15 elements per lens (28 mm: 13 groups; 40/75 mm: 14 groups) with the Neutral flare option favouring restrained horizontal streaks and stable contrast under mixed practicals. The native PL mount follows the standard 52 mm flange distance, and the mechanics are cinema-friendly: 270° focus rotation for accurate marks, 0.8-mod gearing, and manual iris control (28 mm: 79°, 40 mm: 58°, 75 mm: 67°). The 28 mm uses a 14-blade iris and the 40/75 mm use 16 blades for smooth oval highlights.

Close-focus performance supports practical coverage: 28 mm focuses to 0.40 m, 40 mm to 0.45 m, and 75 mm to 0.84 m (measured from the sensor plane). A common 95 mm front with M86 filtration keeps matte boxes, NDs and diopters consistent, which matters in fast-turnaround commercials, episodic drama, streaming studio segments and gimbal/Steadicam work. The 2x geometry preserves “waterfall” bokeh and stretched speculars that push brand films, music videos and documentary inserts toward a classic cinemascope language.
