Laowa 10mm T2.9 Zero-D VV Cine LPL

Laowa 10 mm T2.9 Zero-D VV Cine LPL pushes full-frame storytelling to its widest rectilinear limit. Covering a 46.31 mm Vista Vision image circle and projecting a monumental 130.3° field of view, it keeps verticals perfectly straight, making tight interiors, car rigs and LED-volume sets look expansive without fisheye warping. LPL mount compatibility means native fit on ARRI ALEXA LF, ALEXA 35, RED RAPTOR 8K VV and other flagship cameras.

The optical formula—15 elements / 9 groups with aspherical and ED glass—delivers high-micro-contrast, low CA and minimal breathing at every stop. A fast T2.9–T22 range pairs with a rounded 14-blade iris for velvety bokeh and star-free points of light. With a 0.12 m minimum focus distance (1 : 4.16 magnification), you can combine foreground texture and sweeping backgrounds in a single frame.

Cine ergonomics accelerate set-ups: 113° focus travel, 63° iris throw and 0.8 MOD gears accommodate wireless motors and FIZ units. The front accepts a 77 mm screw-in filter or 4-inch clamp-on matte box via its 84.8 mm outer diameter. Laser-engraved metric / imperial scales remain legible under low light. All-alloy construction keeps weight to ≈ 545 g while surviving rental abuse and gimbal duty.

Additional benefits include internal focusing that holds balance on motorised stabilisers, a factory shim set for quick flange tuning, and unified gear positions with other Laowa VV primes to speed up lens swaps. Ideal for ads, live 12G-SDI shows and raw capture.
