A 15-element, 13-group optical design controls colour fringing and keeps 42° horizontal coverage across the full 25.6 mm image circle, maintaining edge-to-edge acuity even wide-open at T2.4. The neutral silver flare signature adds clean horizontal streaks without tint, protecting accurate skin tones and art-department colours.

Cine ergonomics match larger lens sets. Focus and iris share 0.8 MOD gears in identical positions throughout the Nanomorph family for rapid swaps, and the long ≈270° focus throw enables razor-sharp pulls. Dual metric / imperial scales read down to a 0.70 m minimum, letting you accentuate oval bokeh without dioptres.
