A constant 1.5 × squeeze produces a 2.66 : 1 image on 16 : 9 sensors, while the signature amber flare paints warm horizontal streaks that enrich night exteriors and skin highlights. The 28.8 × 18 mm image circle eliminates vignetting on all S35 cameras and even selected full-frame crop modes.

The 14-element/13-group optical design, multi-resistant coatings and 13-blade iris preserve contrast and control chromatic fringing at a fast T2.4; stopping to T16 yields plate-ready sharpness. A generous 274° focus throw allows minute rack-focus control, and minimal breathing keeps VFX plates rock-steady. Telephoto compression, oval bokeh and the 80 mm focal length carve subjects from the background with unmistakable anamorphic character.

Built for modern rigs, the lens is just 110 mm long, 80 mm in front diameter, and only 830 g (1.8 lb), keeping gimbals, drones and sliders perfectly balanced. Standard 0.8 MOD gears on focus and iris align with the entire Nanomorph series, so follow-focus marks remain fixed when you swap glass. A 77 mm front thread accepts ND or close-up diopters, and the supplied 3/8″-16 support foot protects the mount during aggressive moves.
