The neutral Silver flarecoating preserves spectral accuracy, letting lighting departments paint highlights without colour drift. A dual-bayonet kit ships with factory-shimmed PL and EF mounts; 0.8 MOD rings and a standard 80 mm front mate instantly with follow-focus, matte boxes and clip-on filters.

Fifteen elements in thirteen groups, including high-index glass and precision cylindrical surfaces, hold MTF across the 35.9 ° × 17.1 ° field. The fast T2.9-T22 iris uses 13 blades to sculpt oval bokeh that remains consistent edge-to-edge, while advanced aberration control keeps colour fringing and astigmatism negligible.
