Laowa Pro2be 24 mm T8 2× Macro Probe Lens – 35° View, PL-mount unlocks perspectives unreachable with conventional optics. The axis tilts 35 ° letting the tube glide over sets while the camera stays level—ideal for tracking shots across liquids, miniature sets or jewellery. The lens covers a 43.2 mm full-frame circle and mates seamlessly with high-speed or VFX-ready cine bodies.

An optical train of 33 elements in 24 groups, built from HR and ED glass, suppresses colour fringing and field curvature. The T8-T40, 10-blade iris resists diffraction; minimum object distance is 4 mm, giving 2 : 1 macro yet keeping an 85 ° diagonal field. Cine-standard 0.8-MOD gears provide 150 ° focus and 50 ° aperture travel for remote pulls.

Engineering details make the Pro2be indispensable. The slender ⌀30.4 mm barrel spans 500 mm and stays waterproof to 36.6 cm, enabling half-submerged moves without splash bags. A collar grants 360 ° barrel rotation for Dutch or vertical framing, and the tube is 9.9 cm longer than the first-generation probe, giving extra clearance for dollies and motion-control rigs. At 1.02 kg the lens remains within gimbal limits; supplied shims keep the PL flange precise after transport.
