Libec HS-350MQC Video Tripod

Libec HS-350MQC is a mid-level spreader tripod system combining the H35 fluid head with QL40C carbon-fiber legs for repeatable pans, controlled tilts and production-pace repositioning in ENG, live streaming and factual TV. The head uses a dual-base interface—75 mm bowl plus a flat base with 3/8"-16—so it can shift from tripod to slider, skater dolly or platform without swapping head hardware.

For camera builds up to 8 kg, the step-free Perfect Balance counterbalance holds position at any tilt angle and covers a 3.0–7.5 kg counterbalance range. An illuminated counterbalance meter supports repeatability after lens changes or when matching multiple identical kits; the dial is graduated 0–100 for fast recall. Pan and tilt resistance is selected via Free + 3 drag steps using a multilayer metal drag unit, with separate pan and tilt locks, a tilt envelope of +90° / −70°, and the supplied pan handle, plus stable operation from −40 °C to +60 °C.

The sideload quick-release lets you load the plate from the side and lock it in one motion—practical with rigs carrying a matte box, wireless video, top handle or V-mount battery. The sliding plate follows selected Manfrotto and Sachtler patterns and ships with a long plate, plus both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws and a locating pin for anti-twist mounting. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads on the head and tripod support clean mounting of a monitor arm, small recorder, receiver, cue light or timecode box, while an LED-lit bubble level keeps leveling visible.

On location, the BR-2B mid-level spreader stabilizes the stance on uneven ground, while the leg system uses one flip lock per leg for rapid height changes during run-and-gun coverage. For crews moving between interviews, stage coverage, corporate webcasts and b-roll, HS-350MQC keeps handling consistent and reduces re-balance friction between shots.
