Libec LX10M Video Tripod

Libec LX10M is a 100 mm bowl tripod system combining the LX10 fluid head, RT50B two-stage aluminium legs and an adjustable mid-level spreader. The system is specified for a 16 kg payload, covering ENG camcorders, compact cinema bodies and live-streaming rigs carrying matte box, follow focus, battery plate, wireless receivers and 7–9″ monitors, while preserving the torsional stiffness needed for long-lens pans and fast reframes at high focal lengths.

On the head, fixed counterbalance and 2-step fluid drag on both axes give a repeatable feel between operators and shooting days. The tilt range +85° / −65° supports high podium coverage, low-angle product shots and teleprompter framing. Balance is set via a sliding camera plate with ±50 mm travel, secured by two 3/8″ screws (plus a spare), so front-heavy zooms, lens adapters or compact prompter brackets can be centred quickly. A plate release button and sliding plate lock speed controlled changeovers.

For leveling, the head integrates a non-illuminated bubble level and a 100 mm ball clamp, with dedicated pan lock for hard-locked framing. The pan handle can be positioned and length-set via its clamp for consistent hand placement, and separate pan/tilt drag controls help match motion signature between cameras on multi-cam stages. The BR-6B mid-level spreader holds leg angles at full extension yet remains practical on stairs, raked studio floors and uneven exterior ground where ground spreaders cannot sit flat.

The kit includes FP-2B large rubber feet for quiet contact on polished venues and integrated metal spikes for grip on turf, gravel or winter ground. Rated for operation in −20°C to +60°C, the LX10M fits broadcast trucks, corporate webcasts, houses of worship and documentary teams that need predictable drag and rapid deployment. Head, legs and spreader travel as a single set in the supplied RC-50 carrying case, simplifying logistics for multi-camera events, interview days and on-location streaming.
