The Lumens VC-A71P-HN Black places a 1/1.8-inch 9.17 MP CMOS block behind a 30x optical zoom, giving 4K 60fps capture with enough reach for speaker close-ups, panel shots or arena positions without moving the camera. Its lens covers 63° at wide end down to 3.7° at telephoto, while Smart AF, manual focus, Smart AE, WDR and 3D noise reduction help maintain detail under LED walls, mixed stage lighting and dark background sets.
For signal routing, 12G-SDI carries UHD from a single BNC path, 3G-SDI and HDMI serve conventional switchers, and the Ethernet port handles NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX3, NDI HX2, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, MPEG-TS and SRT. USB 3.0 can output H.264 4K30 or MJPEG 1080p30 for software capture. The camera can output network and baseband signals in parallel, so a crew can feed a hardware mixer, an IP encoder and a monitoring station from the same source.
Broadcast timing is covered through genlock, including NDI Genlock, making the camera easier to place among 12G-SDI cameras, replay systems and graphics servers. Rec.709 and BT.2020 color space options allow controlled matching in HD and UHD chains. FreeD data supports virtual production tracking, while the tally light assists operators during multi-camera switching. With 256 presets, very slow 0.01°/s movement, rapid 300°/s repositioning and +170° to -170° pan range, camera cues can be repeated with precision during conferences, sports, e-sports, product launches and education capture.
Network operation is not an afterthought: PoE++ reduces cabling on ceilings, truss positions or fixed studio mounts, and 802.1x suits managed AV-over-IP infrastructure. RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet, USB and remote control options fit both traditional PTZ panels and software control rooms. A 3.5 mm line/mic input with AAC, G.711 and PCM audio formats also gives the Lumens VC-A71P-HN Black a practical route for lecture capture, live streaming and corporate production where embedded audio matters.

Featuring NDI High Bandwidth, VC-A71P-HN delivers high-quality video over IP networks with ultra-low latency. Visually lossless, the I-Frame NDI codec is suitable for use in high-end video and TV production, live events and studios.
NDI HX3 Technology
VC-A71P-HN supports the latest version of the NDI protocol, NDI HX3. It delivers high-quality video with very low latency and connects directly to NDI networks. VC-A71P-HN outputs NDI HX3 and NDI High Bandwidth output simultaneously.
Broadcast Connections
VC-A71P-HN is equipped with dual SDI ports (12G and 3G) and a genlock connector to synchronize broadcast equipment. The camera can be powered over the Ethernet (PoE++); the network port can also be used for SRT and MPEG- TS output, as well as standard webstreaming protocols.
