One camera position can carry two editorial tasks: a fixed room reference and a motorised close-up of the person speaking. Lumens VC-TR60A Black is a 4K dual-lens speaker-tracking PTZ camera that pairs a robotic zoom head with a separate panoramic camera. The PTZ section uses a 1/2.8" 8.51M sensor, records up to 2160p60, and combines 12x optical zoom with 8x digital zoom, an F1.8–F3.6 lens and an 81° horizontal angle of view. The panoramic section keeps a wider 110° horizontal / 78° vertical view at up to 2160p30, so a director, lecturer or meeting host can retain room context while the PTZ head frames detail.

Tracking is handled from both image and sound data. The integrated directional voice sensors locate the active speaker, while the camera can also use USB or line-in reference audio to ignore sound coming from a local speakerphone. That matters in Microsoft Teams rooms, training suites, council chambers, boardrooms and hybrid presentation spaces where several contributors speak from different seats. Speaker tracking, motion tracking and auto framing reduce the need for a dedicated camera operator, but manual focus, exposure, gain and white balance remain available for technical teams that need repeatable results.

For signal routing, the VC-TR60A Black outputs over HDMI, Ethernet and USB at the same time. HDMI carries the PTZ image at 2160p60 and the panoramic image at 2160p30; USB 3.0 delivers up to 2160p30 using H.264, MJPEG or NV12; IP streaming uses H.264 with RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT support. Dual video output and Picture-in-Picture allow one unit to feed a media processor, lecture capture recorder, conferencing codec or software switcher with both a wide shot and a tighter speaker view.

Installation reads like an AV integrator’s checklist. PoE+ IEEE 802.3at keeps cabling clean where a network drop is already available, while RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet and USB control cover VISCA, ONVIF, UVC and UAC environments. The 256 preset positions help standardise recurring room layouts, and WDR, 3D noise reduction plus 0.5 lux sensitivity support usable images in rooms with mixed daylight, screens and practical lighting. Intelligent Speaker Tracking
VC-TR60A incorporates an array of directional sound sensors that detect the location of active human voices. The camera head moves and zooms to shoot the current speaker, re-framing as other voices enter the discussion. VC-TR60A supports a reference audio input (USB or line in). This eliminates remote side audio interference, ensuring precise and reliable speaker tracking of speakers within the room.

AI Motion Tracking
VC-TR60A features sophisticated auto-tracking and framing modes. Its intelligent human detection algorithms deliver smooth tracking for conferences, presentations, meeting rooms, classrooms and studios.

PIP Output
VC-TR60A can combine the two video images in a picture-in-picture display with output over HDMI and USB. This allows the audience to watch a composite video that incorporates both the wide-angle view and the tight shot. This function can be activated independently, or at the same time as running motion or speaker tracking.

Dual Video Output
VC-TR60A generates two video streams from its panoramic fixed camera and the robotic zoom head. These can be delivered over IP into a media processor, IP-based production software or a lecture capture system to provide two camera angles from a single unit.

USB Audio Reference Line In
Attach a USB speakerphone directly to the VC-TR60A for single cable connection to your MTR or laptop. In speaker tracking mode, the camera's tracking algorithm will exclude sound produced by the speakerphone, ensuring that the VC-TR60A focuses only on individuals in the meeting space.
