Magewell’s Control Hub Pro centralises oversight and routing for IP video systems. Running in a Docker container on your own server or in the cloud, this software works with Linux, Windows and macOS. The Pro licence covers 150 encoders and decoders with 50 conversion channels and 150 outputs, giving broadcasters and corporate AV teams the capacity to expand without additional hardware. A clean web interface shows live status and preview images of Ultra Stream, Ultra Encode, Pro Convert and USB Fusion devices so you can see what is happening across your network at a glance.

As the next generation of Magewell Cloud, Control Hub Pro brings all device functions into one dashboard. Operators can configure settings, start or stop streaming, and roll out firmware updates for an entire fleet from a single page. The software uses a lightweight HTTP API for integration, allowing automation systems to query status or adjust stream parameters. Because the platform runs on your infrastructure, it keeps sensitive video content behind your firewall while providing the flexibility of web‑based management.

Where Control Hub Pro really shines is in its stream conversion. You can assign an input to multiple output protocols and destinations: send an H.264 or H.265 feed to YouTube over RTMP, deliver the same programme to a remote studio over SRT and supply local decoders through UDP/RTP without re‑encoding. On Linux hosts it can also produce NDI streams for monitoring or internal distribution. Server resource monitoring ensures that CPU, memory and network capacity are under control, and the system logs activities for traceability.

For complex multi‑site operations, user management is essential. Control Hub Pro supports up to 32 user accounts arranged in six groups with assignable permissions, so tasks can be delegated safely. This makes it suitable for broadcasters, universities, houses of worship and enterprise networks where teams need to collaborate on live production and streaming. By delivering centralised control and flexible protocol conversion in a self‑hosted package, Control Hub Pro becomes an indispensable part of modern IP video workflows.

The successor to the former Magewell Cloud platform, the new Control Hub features an enhanced device management interface and expanded stream conversion capabilities.

One Management Platform for all Magewell IP Devices
The Control Hub software supports Magewell hardware products including Ultra Stream and Ultra Encode live media encoders; Pro Convert NDI® encoders and decoders; the Pro Convert Audio DX IP audio converter; and the USB Fusion capture and mixing device. Users can remotely configure device parameters, trigger operational functions and upgrade the firmware of multiple devices in batches.

Intuitive and Efficient Browser-based Interface
Control Hub’s intuitive, redesigned dashboard makes it easy for users to see the status of their devices and deployments at a glance. Video from remote Ultra Stream, Ultra Encode and USB Fusion units can be previewed directly in the Control Hub interface without needing to open the individual device's interface panel.

Easy Stream Conversion Capabilities
Control Hub can convert between multiple streaming protocols with an exceptionally flexible stream routing architecture. Users can easily define 'channels' that map an input to one or more output protocols and destinations. Control Hub converts between RTMP, SRT (in caller or listener mode), RTSP and transport streams (delivered over UDP or RTP).

Choose the Version That’s Right for You
Control Hub can be purchased in three full versions (Basic, Plus or Pro) to meet your specific needs for the number of managed devices, stream conversion channels, and stream conversion outputs. A Lite version is also available for customers requiring device management but who do not need stream conversion. Multiple Control Hub Lite licenses can be combined to manage a greater number of devices (in increments of 20).
