Magewell Eco Capture AIO M.2 is a compact internal capture card for integrators and video teams that need dependable ingest in systems where a full-size PCIe slot is not available. Built in the M.2 2280 Type M format and connected over PCIe Gen2 x2, it brings professional video acquisition into miniature production PCs, mobile encoder platforms, flypack systems, embedded recorders and custom streaming appliances. The card accepts a single 2K HDMI or SDI source with embedded audio, which makes it practical for studio signal ingest, lecture capture, webcast encoding, confidence monitoring nodes and OEM video systems that must stay compact without giving up proper broadcast interfaces.
From the signal side, this model handles HDMI 1.4a and SD/HD/3G-SDI up to 2048 x 1080 at 60 fps. The HDMI path supports RGB and YCbCr input structures up to 12-bit, while the SDI side supports broadcast-standard transport including SMPTE ST 259, ST 292 and ST 424, with embedded audio and closed caption support through the SDK. Magewell also specifies custom EDID handling, automatic input format detection and support for SD composite compatibility on the SDI-side cabling architecture, which is useful when older signal sources still appear in production, training rooms or legacy AV installations.
