Distribution is handled internally too. A hardware encoder sends as many as three RTMP live streams at once, at 1080p and up to 20 Mbps over Ethernet – YouTube, a corporate CDN and the client's own platform in parallel, with no streaming PC. Over USB-C the programme appears as a UVC webcam at 1080p60 in vMix, OBS or Zoom. Two HDMI outputs and two SDI buses (four BNC connectors, each bus doubled) can carry any input, PGM, PVW, clean feed, MultiSource or Multiview. The Multiview itself shows PGM/PVW plus 7 or 15 assignable windows, with audio meters and red/green tally borders. Assignments change mid-show without disturbing the recorded or streamed programme, so one unit feeds an LED wall, a stage confidence monitor and an external recorder.

Sports and event producers get tools that normally need a second device. A DDR buffer continuously records a chosen input, and one key in the PLAYER section replays the last moments at 0.5×, 0.33× or 0.25× through Player 2. Player 1 meanwhile holds a stinger transition with alpha, so a branded replay wipe into slow motion runs from the same panel. For interviews and video podcasts, a 4K signal on HDMI input 1 can be cropped into three independent 1080p shots – 4K ROI virtual cameras – giving a wide and two close-ups from a single locked-off camera.

Four upstream keyers (luma, chroma, pattern, PiP), two downstream keyers, two alpha-capable still generators and a five-layer MultiSource compositor handle green screen, lower thirds, logos, scoreboards and talk-show split layouts. Transitions include cut, mix, wipe, dip and stinger. Graphics rendered in vMix, ProPresenter, UNO or H2R arrive with transparency over one HDMI cable through GoStream Overlay, which saves both a fill/key interface and an input.

Audio gets the same attention. Two XLR inputs switch between mic and line level and supply 48 V phantom power for condenser microphones; the 3.5 mm TRS input can be split into two mono mic channels, giving four independent mics alongside embedded camera audio in a 16-channel mixer. Each mic channel gets a compressor, three-band EQ, a gate and AI-based suppression of air-conditioning and room noise, plus adjustable delay to line analogue sound up with picture; a limiter guards the programme bus. With audio-follow-video or AI voice-detected auto switching, a single operator can run a panel discussion in which the shot follows whoever is speaking.

Control stays hands-on. The broadcast-style surface has PGM and PVW rows, a T-bar, dedicated key buttons and a joystick for PTZ camera control via VISCA over IP – seven cameras with ten stored positions each. Ten macros and ten scenes sit on the panel, up to 100 macros live in the free PC software (network or USB-C), and Bitfocus Companion with Stream Deck lets a second operator take over graphics or replays. A built-in hotspot opens the configuration page on a phone via QR code, and show profiles exported to the CFexpress card can be loaded onto another unit. The switcher runs from a 12 V / 72 W supply and is rated for 0–40 °C.

On a paid job, every extra box means another power supply, another cable run and another thing that can fail. Bringing switching, ISO recording, streaming, replay, PTZ control and audio into the Osee GoStream Omni 12 ISO shortens load-ins and keeps troubleshooting simple.
