Sachtler aktiv10 flowtech100 GS sets a new reference for ENG and cine work, pairing the aktiv10 fluid head with flowtech100 carbon-fibre legs and ground spreader. Weighing only 6.8 kg, the system supports cameras from 0 to 12 kg while preserving torsional rigidity—ideal for large-sensor camcorders with full accessory rigs. The integrated 100 mm bowl with SpeedSwap™ converts to flat-base in seconds, so one support covers tripod, dolly or slider without tools.
Level once, shoot immediately. The SpeedLevel™ lever replaces bowl screws and is reachable from any side, while the illuminated PrismBubble secures the horizon in low-light OB or studio floors. Balance is refined through 15 counterbalance positions, and movement is tuned with 7 + 0 pan/tilt drag steps. Tilt spans +90° to −70°, and the 120 mm sliding plate keeps the centre-of-gravity directly over the bowl, so long-lens rigs stay neutral. The friction cartridges use steel ball races for repeatable starts and stops at telephoto focal lengths. Always reliable.
The two-stage flowtech100 tripod stretches from 0.43 m to 1.59 m via a single-handed hinge lock; no mid-level spreader is needed, yet the ground spreader gives instant flat-floor deployment. Carbon-fibre tubes resist twist under loads up to 30 kg, and rubber-sheathed feet grip tiles, asphalt or lattice stages. Operational from −40 °C to +60 °C, the system defies harsh climates.
