The Saramonic WiTalk9 WT5S is a 5-user full-duplex wireless intercom system in the 1.9 GHz DECT band destined for multi-camera sets, live productions and broadcast stages. A single hub-free master headset links with four remote single-ear headsets, forming a self-contained talkback network without a base station. Dual antennas and adaptive frequency hopping keep the link stable over up to 500 meters line of sight, while DECT encryption secures production communication in busy RF environments.
ClearTalk three-mic ENC combines a 360° noise-cancelling array with switchable Weak/Strong modes to separate speech from crowd noise, PA systems or machinery. Combined with automatic gain control and high-output headphone amplifiers rated for locations up to 130 dB SPL, operators retain clear monitoring in OB vans, stadium tunnels or on stage. Latency stays under 83 ms, so the WiTalk9 WT5S remains precise enough for camera cues, tally coordination and time-critical live switching.
Each single-ear headset in the WiTalk9 WT5S offers flip-up mic muting, quick-swap batteries and interchangeable over-ear cooling-gel or on-ear foam cushions for long days on set. The included 10-slot charging bay supports rotation of the battery packs, and headsets can be powered while in use for extended shows and festivals. IPX5 weather protection and wind-noise suppression with foam windscreens keep dialog intelligible during outdoor sports, ENG or event coverage.
For distributed teams, the Saramonic app master control turns the WiTalk9 WT5S into a flexible intercom platform. The master headset connects by cable or wireless link to a computer or smartphone, routing intercom audio into solutions such as Zoom or Teams for remote director talkback. Large app icons give fast access to group mute, broadcast, one-to-one talk and pairing, while nine available channels and scalable cascading to up to 30 headsets allow the system to fit studio, stage or live-streaming infrastructures.
