Saramonic WiTalk9 WT7S is a 7-person full-duplex wireless intercom headset system for professional film sets, live streaming stages and broadcast OB units. Working in the 1.9 GHz DECT band, it links one master and six remote single-ear headsets without a base station and maintains a line-of-sight range up to 500 m, so directors, camera operators and stage managers share a continuous talkback channel across the production.
Speech intelligibility is driven by ClearTalk 360° ENC, combining a three-microphone array with a dedicated noise-reduction algorithm that removes up to 50 dB of ambience while keeping voices natural. The digital path runs at 16-bit / 16 kHz with a 150 Hz–8 kHz response, low distortion and 65 dB signal-to-noise ratio, so cues stay precise next to PA systems or generators. Latency remains at ≤83 ms with eight remotes connected, and automatic gain control stabilises level when background sound rises.
The WiTalk9 WT7S supports true hands-free full duplex, allowing all seven users to speak and listen at the same time with no push-to-talk logic slowing work. Larger crews can be organised by cascading multiple WiTalk9 sets via LINK cables, giving capacity for up to 30 active headsets in one network. The master headset connects by TRRS or Bluetooth to computers, vision mixers or smartphones, feeding and receiving audio from platforms such as Zoom or Teams, while the LINK port also enables program monitoring, director-only IFB-style talkback or cross-location intercom.
For long days on set, each headset uses a reinforced PC+30GF chassis, IPX5 weather sealing and cooling-gel over-ear cushions with interchangeable on-ear foam pads, plus an adjustable headband and flip-up boom that mutes automatically. Hot-swappable 1450 mAh Li-polymer batteries deliver about 9–10 hours on the master and at least 15 hours on remotes. Fourteen battery packs, a 10-slot charging bay, windscreens, temple pads, pouches and a carry case are supplied.
