The Saramonic WiTalk9 WT9S is a 9-person full-duplex wireless intercom headset system for professional crews that need constant, hands-free talkback. Operating in the 1.9 GHz DECT digital band, it assures a liaison at low latency between a master headset and eight remotes, without any external hub or bodypacks. A line-of-sight range up to 500 m (approx. 1640 ft) covers large stages, arenas and multi-camera streaming setups while keeping coordination fully synchronous.
The WiTalk9 WT9S uses dual-antenna diversity and encrypted DECT transmission to hold a stable link in RF-dense venues. Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) searches cleaner channels, while Saramonic App control lets a production manager monitor link status, battery level and user roles from a phone or smartphone. Via the LINK port, the master headset can bridge the intercom to remote collaborators over online meeting platforms or mobile networks, so local crews and off-site clients share the same talkback.
Speech intelligibility is driven by ClearTalk three-microphone array noise cancelling with 360° pickup and switchable Light/Strong profiles. Together with an AGC algorithm, high output level and maximum SPL handling up to noisy 130 dB environments, the system keeps cues readable beside PA systems, generators or crowd noise. Each single-ear headset offers a 150 Hz–8 kHz voice band, low distortion and automatic boom mute when the mic arm is parked upright.
For field reliability, the IPX5-rated headsets resist rain and wind, with aviation-grade over-ear cooling-gel cushions and on-ear pads for different wear preferences. Hot-swappable lithium batteries deliver up to 9 hours on the master and 15 hours on each remote, supported by a 10-slot charger that suits cart-based and mobile kits.
